Roles & permissions
Every person in your organisation has one of three roles, set when they’re invited (or changed later in Settings → Team).

Admin can do everything, including the admin-only resources (locations, categories, settings, team).
Member has full day-to-day access, including creating, editing, and deleting items, loans, contacts, events, and everything else on the list above — the difference from Admin is no access to locations, categories, team, or organisation settings.
Viewer is read-only, and scoped to Inventory only. A viewer can look at the items list and an item’s detail page — that’s it. There’s no create, edit, delete, or scanning, and no access at all (not just hidden buttons — the pages themselves redirect away) to the Dashboard, Lending, Movements, Maintenance, Reports, Contacts, Events, Reservations, Calendar, or any admin-only settings. A viewer’s own Account and Preferences tabs in Settings still work as usual.
Creating additional organisations
Section titled “Creating additional organisations”Only an organisation’s owner — the account that originally created it — can create another organisation from an account that already belongs to one. This is a level above Admin: an org’s owner is normalised to the Admin role everywhere else in the app, but org creation checks the underlying owner status specifically. A brand-new account with no organisations yet can always create its first one during onboarding, and becomes that org’s owner automatically.
